LeBron Raymone James Sr. born on December 30, 1984, is an American professional basketball player, who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). He is known by the name of King James and is considered as one of the most successful basketball players in history. James has won four NBA Championships as well as the four NBA MVP Awards, Four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He has also won two Olympic gold medals. James has earned the second most career goals and seventh most assists. James has been chosen for the NBA All Star team 18 times. It is a NBA record that he has been an NBA All-Star for 18 years. James has played in ten NBA Finals the third most all time including eight consecutively between 2011 and the year 2018. James has been selected for the NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's very first player to have attained 10,000 points or more in rebounds, assists, and points in his career in 2022. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent St. Mary High School, located in Akron Ohio. The national press praised him as an NBA superstar. The Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the top pick in the NBA draft in 2003. He was voted one of the NBA most promising rookie in the 2004. Soon he became one of the top players of the NBA, winning the NBA MVP Award both the years 2009 and 2010. James was a free agency in 2010 after failing to secure championships for Cleveland. The decision to leave Cleveland to join Miami Heat, announced on the show on television The Decision, is considered among the most controversial free agent decisions in the history of sports.
